ENTRY.
Welcome to DISASTERRIFIC.NET, version 2.0!
This is Robin's domain, containing a strange mix of (fan)sites. These fansites consist of Final Fantasy, animals, musicals and raving fangirls. Robin has been active in the website business since early 2003. Previous domains she owned were esuna.net and cherish-me.org. It is possible that you may know these domains, but they haven't been around for a long time now.
NETWORK.
Here are the various websites hosted on disasterrific.net. As you can see, it's a real scrumble.

INFORMATION.
I purchased this domain in October 2009, for the simple reason that my "loyal" (there are other ways of putting this) host Geocities decided to call it quits. I had to find a new place to store my various fanlistings, shrines and other types of websites. Not that they are that important, but I had grown quite attached to some of them, being online since 2003, being my babies. Since I had owned domains before, this seemed the right solution. The search for the right hosting offer began. After two months I found Hosting4ever.nl, a Dutch webhosting. Their offers looked reasonable and since you never really know what you're getting yourself into, I went for them. And I haven't regretted it so far. My previous domains, esuna.net (ca 2003) and cherish-me.org (ca 2004) had been hosted by Cyberpixels and while I didn't have real major problems while being hosted by them, they were (are?) quite expensive and in the end they didn't work out for me anymore.
THE NAME.
The name originates from FFX-2. While I didn't especially love that game, Rikku utters the phrase "disasterrific" at some point, and that has always stuck with me. While you might think differently of it, I always see it as a light word. It's going disasterrific, meaning it's not going too well, but you joke about it.
Used by Rikku in Final Fantasy X2. Brother doesn't think it's proper, but Yuna picks it up anyway. Describes a really tense or bad situation.
Brother: "How are things going down there?"
Rikku: "Disasterrific!"Source.
CURRENT LAYOUT.
The current layout features the crew from Final Fantasy XII.
WEBMISTRESS.
There is not much to tell, really. I'm a student, Dutch, and 22 years of age. I was first introduced to the internet in the year 2000 and that was the start of the madness. I got into webdesigning pretty quickly after that, my first shrine (dedicated to Princess Garnet Til Alexandros 17th of FFIX fame) launched in 2002. That was the starting point of my webdesigning, and I have come a long way since. Although I am still not fully satisfied with my "skills". I do really love my little space on the web and I hope I can keep this up for many, many years to come.
